Bien mis amigos.. yo soy novato en el area de linux en general..!!

tengo una tv tuner con chipset Philips Semiconductors SAA7133/SAA7135 y tambien tengo una tarjeta de video ati radeon 9200 se..!!

tanto la tarjeta de video como la tv tuner me trabajan bien.. la tv tuner la tengo con el tvtime.. que esta genial por cierto..!! y la verdad si que fue dificil que con decirle que para tener todo nitido y funcionando de prueba en prueba ya he formateado 3 veces la ubuntu..!!

ahora lo que me gustaria seria poder activarle el control remoto a la tv tuner he leido algo por ahi.. y al parecer si es posible.. pero lo que no se si sera posible con mi version de ubuntu edgy 6.10 y el chipset de mi tvtuner aqui les dejo lo que me da la salida lspci

en verdad que les agradeceria cualquier ayuda.. pq ya quiero tirar windows por la ventana.. pero como mi familia usa la tv tuner par ver tv.. entonces para ellos es mas facil con el control.. y mientras no la cargue bien aqui... no me puedo deshacer de windows..!!

Este caso del control esta cabron configurarlo alguna ves ya lo intente.

El programa que necesitas es lirc ubuntu cuenta con tres paquetes lirc, lirc-modules-source y lirc-x.

La configuración es algo tediosa ya que se debe configurar un archivo a mano para cada botón del control, desafortunadamente mi TV tunner no tiene control integrado y nunca he podido probarlo, te mando un enlace a un blog donde explican el proceso de conflagración para ubuntu, no es para tu tarjeta pero debe de servirte.

Ya la revise y eso que esta ahi es para un chipset diferente, es para una avermedia98, o sea, no sirve para la solucion al problema de kakihara.
